Document & ID Photos

Official photos are the highest-stakes images most people ever upload, and the rules are numeric: head height between two millimetre marks, eyes inside a band, background within a colour family, file inside a byte window. Tools that just crop to 35×45 address none of that — which is how people end up re-applying. This family measures first: face geometry detected locally, head height computed in millimetres against the country's published range, background checked for colour and evenness in perceptual units, pose angles read out in degrees.

Five countries get dedicated, fully-tabled pages — the US 2×2 with its 240 KB upload ceiling, the UK's cream-or-grey background and one-month recency, Schengen's tall 32–36 mm head band, India's pure-white rule and 630×810 portal format, Canada's oversized 50×70 — because their rules genuinely differ, and mixing them up is the classic rejection. The exam lane covers India's recruitment portals, where files are validated to the kilobyte, plus signature cleaning and the combined photo-plus-signature upload some forms demand.

One policy runs through every page here: no AI background replacement, no beautification, no retouching. Authorities on three continents now explicitly warn against software-altered photos. These tools measure, crop and encode — the three operations that cannot get you rejected.
